Without changing destination, without the minimum deviation
Between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, between Europe and Africa, in the very Straight of Gibraltar, the Algeciras Container Terminal (TCA) is located in one the areas with the world’s largest cargo movement. It is a situation that makes the Algeciras port the seventh one in Europe, and one the 25 largest ones on worldwide level. This new terminal, recently built at the Isla Verde inside quays, counts on a surface of 180,000 m2, 680 meters of quay, 14.5 meter of depth and the most modern technologies for container handling. Being a non-dedicated (public user) terminal, our mission is to combine the advantages in terms of planning and execution of a “virtually dedicated terminal” with the savings on costs and capital derived from sharing resources. In addition, all this will allow the development of new services and alliances to our clients from this geographically privileged port of Algeciras. Because the stops at this point do not mean any deviations along the main North/South, East/West routes that link Asia, Europe, Africa and the American Continent. TCA, “zero deviation”. |
